Hampden Track Club members qualify for state track meet

OLD TOWN- Hampden Track Club Qualifies 12 Girls and 11 Boys for the Group D Region for the Maine USA Track and Field State Track Meet August 12th at Massabesic High School in Waterboro.


Girls 8 and Under: Ellie Arsenault – 100 Meter Dash; Erin Curtis – 4x100m Mixed Relay; Breah Curtis 100m, 200m; Izzy Krummel – High Jump (won with jump of 2’10”),400m and 800m; Nina Mitchell – won all her events (200m 36.97-personal best, 400m 1.22.28, 800m 3.14.18); Gigi Williams (won Shot Put 16’11”) Long Jump, 100m.


Girls 9-10: Grace Marquis – High Jump, 200m, 400m.


Girls 11-12: Olivia Airey- 200m; Lilly deWildt- Triple Jump + High Jump; Lilyann Geiser- won all of her events (High Jump personal best of 4’8”), Long Jump 14’00.25”; Lily Woodside-80m Hurdles.


Girls 13-14: Alexis Thornwall-won 800m 3.02.54.


Boys 8 and Under: Eli Marquis- (won 400m 1.31.30), 800m, Long Jump; Jackson Michaud- 4x100m Mixed Relay; Will Mitchell- 4x100m Mixed Relay; Kason Shaw- 4x100m Mixed Relay.


Boys 9-10: Nick deWildt- Javelin + Shot Put.


Boys 11-12: Benjamin Arsenault- 800m Race Walk; Quinton Bisher- (won High Jump personal best of 4’4”), Long Jump, 100m; Ethan Marquis- 400m +800m.


Boys 13-14: Charlie Collins- Shot Put, 800m, 1500m 3000m; Ian Potter- Long Jump.


Boys 15: Eric Moors-won all his events- Shot Put 31’11.50”, Discus 71’8”.
